Trigg County Schools Superintendent Travis Hamby has been named one of three finalists in the search for a new superintendent in the Daviess County Public School district. Hamby has been superintendent in the Trigg County School District since 2010. He joins Ballard County Schools Superintendent Casey Allen and Daviess County Schools Assistant Superintendent for finance and operations Matthew Robbins in candidacy for the position.
The position will become available July 1, upon the retirement of current Superintendent Owens Saylor.
Daviess County will host a meet and greet session with Hamby on Tuesday for parents and faculty within the district. See more in this week's edition of The Cadiz Record.
