Editor:

Some thoughts on aliens – migrants from south of the border. I understand that we have a big trade deficit with Mexico and others to our south.

I propose that for every one coming across our border that we deduct one billion dollars from our deficit of their home country. Illegally that is.

That money be used to pay for homes, medical, schooling for all of our needy and poor.

Would it work? I don’t know, but it is our country and our money. As far as I know they cannot vote. That the American flag will fly over all places that there is a pole to fly it from. Our flag is to fly over and above any other. If this offends anyone let them return to the country where it doesn’t fly.

This is from an old WWII vet that spent 4-1/2 years in the Army and three of it on a South Pacific island.

Make English our official language! I think a second language is good, but use it at home. I studied Spanish in high school, but it has been years ago.

Let us see what those elected folks in Washington think about this! If any thing!
