Cadiz Police Chief Hollis L. Alexander announced today the newest addition to the Cadiz Police Department, David Colbert. David is 55 years old of Cadiz. He was recently hired by the department to serve as the school resource officer.

David retired from the Hammond, Indiana Police Department after 32 plus years of service. According to Alexander he brings with him a wealth of knowledge pertaining to law enforcement. “We feel like David will be a great addition to the school system, City of Cadiz and the Cadiz Police Department,” Chief Alexander said.
