A unique dinner and dance with live big band music is being offered to benefit the Janice Mason Art Museum in Cadiz on March 22.

The popular big band, The Temple Airs, from Evansville, Ind., will be the featured entertainment for this dinner and dance event. The Temple Airs are a 20-member big band with quite a following of fans. They have been performing together for several years and benefit programs are the only events at which they appear.

"This is really going to be a unique and special evening of great music. If you enjoy dancing or just listening to live big band music and you enjoy delicious food, don't miss this opportunity," stated Paula Lisowsky, president of the Janice Mason Art Museum Executive Board. "Visitors to the museum are enjoying diverse exhibits, poetry reading, and workshops. These types of cultural experiences receive financial support from fundraisers. Many volunteers are working hard to make this fund raising event a memorable evening."

The dinner dance with the theme "Swing City" will be held in the Lake Barkley State Resort Convention Center in scenic Trigg County. Lake Barkley State Resort Park is offering special room rates in cooperation with the event.

Do not miss it. You may purchase tickets by calling the Janice Mason Art Museum at 270-522-9056; your charge card is welcomed. For more information on how to become a member of the museum, or to view a schedule of events, visit the museum's web site www.jmam.org.
