Recently, the Trigg County Extension Homemakers held a Taster's Luncheon. Chairman of the event, Peggy Graham, recorded the event as a huge success with approximately 130 attendees and 90 food entries. This is the first time the Homemakers have held a luncheon.

The next big event for the Trigg County Extension Homemakers will be a Woman's Show to be held at the Lexie Bush Convention Center, Trigg County Complex, on Saturday June 7th. beginning at 10 a.m.

Over 55 vendors have registered. Examples of some of the things you will see are Longaberger baskets, cosmetics, jewelry, Quilted Purses, Artisans, Woodcrafters, and Home and Garden displays. There will be something for everyone.

Also, lunch will be served in the food court. Door prizes will be given away each hour, and grand prizes to be given away include 2 nights at Lake Barkley State Resort park and free admission into an art class provided by The Janice Mason Art Museum.

Admission into the Woman's Show is free but donations will be accepted. All proceeds will be going to the Trigg County Homemakers Scholarship Fund. Each year the Trigg County Homemaker's give a $500 scholarship to a graduating Trigg County student.
