JMAM to feature Festival of Trees in December

There is room for a few more trees to be exhibited. Groups or organizations may enter a decorated tree. The decorations are to be developed around a theme determined by the displaying organization. In order to register your tree, you must notify the museum at 522-9056. There is an informational form that must be completed for each group. The sponsoring organization will furnish its own tree, decorations, extension cord and tree skirt. The trees are to be put up and decorated on Wednesday, Dec. 3, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. They are to be taken down on Friday, Jan. 2 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The deadline for entering the tree is Nov. 21. There is only room to display 30 trees. This year will not be a contest, but visitors to the museum on Saturday, Dec. 6 will have the opportunity to select their favorite Viewer's Choice. The December exhibit will also feature collectible dolls. We are looking for collectible girl and boy type dolls. If you have collectible dolls that you would like for the museum to consider for the show, please contact the museum at 522-9056, as soon as possible. The dolls will certainly add to the joy and excitement of this favored exhibit.
