Funeral services for Addie Gertrude “Trudy” Beal, 83, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Trigg County, were conducted on Friday, February 3, 2006, at 11 a.m. EST, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., CST, at the Cerulean Cemetery in Cerulean.

Mrs. Beal died on Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at her residence.

Mrs. Beal was retired from Bell Telephone Company after 30 years of employment; and was a member of Grace Heartland Church.

Mrs. Beal was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Fanny Pollard Blanks; her husband, Harley Darius Beal; and a brother, Harvey Blanks.

Survivors include a son, Harley J. Beal of Elizabethtown; brother, Samuel Blanks of Indianapolis, Ind.; sister, Connie Wilson of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and four grandchildren, Jonathan Beal, Madeline Beal, Molly Beal, and Grace Beal.
