Funeral services for Annie Maud Noel Ricks, 88, of Cadiz, were conducted on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at 2 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Revs. Archie Brock and Monty Flanigan officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Lawrence Cemetery in Trigg County.

Mrs. Ricks died on Monday, January 29, 2007, at 12:45 a.m., at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton of natural causes.

Mrs. Ricks was born on July 10, 1918, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Ferd and Beulah Downs Noel.

Mrs. Ricks was a homemaker, and was a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie Ricks; a sister, Pauline Taylor; and a grandchild, Timothy Ricks.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, J.F. and Betty Ricks of Cadiz; a brother, Artis “Bud” Noel of Cadiz; two sisters, Adeline Baker of Kuttawa, and Elizabeth Digby of Cadiz; three grandchildren and spouses, Jeff and Rebecca Ricks, Trent and Lori Ricks, and Joey and Melanie Ricks; and eight great-grandchildren, Zachary Ricks, Zane Ricks, Kacie Ricks, Zachary Herndon, Tori Ricks, Lexi Ricks, Livi Ricks, and Mari Kate Ricks.

Johnnie Taylor, pianist and vocalist, and Dale Taylor, vocalist; and Missy Fowler and Zepha Mitchell, vocalists, and Hannah Cross, pianist, provided the music.

Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Ricks, Trent Ricks, Joey Ricks, Zachary Ricks, Zane Ricks, and Zachary Herndon.
