Funeral services for Anthony G. Simpson, 46, of Cerulean, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Rev. John Hagan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cerulean Cemetery. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Simpson died following a short illness at 4:12 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

He was born in Trigg County to Glenn and Nancy Simpson of Cerulean.

Mr. Simpson was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church and a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He was a tool setter for Emhart Teknologies in Hopkinsville.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Phelps-Simpson of Cerulean; his parents, Glenn and Nancy Simpson of Cerulean; and one son, Shane Anthony Simpson of the home.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Bruce, Scott Lamirande, Kevin Balthrop, David Moore, Gary Holt and Billy Knight.Music will be provided by Vicki Bridges, pianist.
