Mr. Nolen died following heart failure November 23, 2010 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
He was born January 13, 1968 to Barbara Barnhart Nolen and the late John E. Nolen Jr. He graduated from Vocational Technical School as a certified mechanic. He was employed by Jones Machine Shop for 15 years before opening his own business.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Betty O. Garland Barnhart and John and Cora Sadler Nolen; one brother, Phillip G. Nolen; two half brothers, Donald Ray Alexander and George E. Nolen.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara B. Nolen Peters; step - father, Randall Peters; one brother, John E. Nolen III (and wife Vicky), one sister, Angela Kylene N. Johnson (and husband Mike), three nephews, Michael Johnson and Steven Johnson (and wife Britney) and Larry Dennis; one great niece, Charley Lavon Johnson; two uncles, Blaine and C. Guthrie Barnhart; one aunt, Francis Gene B. Hill of Indianapolis, Ind.; adopted grandmother, Shirley Harris; and many friends.
