Coby Lewis was named the new Trigg County High School football head coach during a press conference Friday morning.

Lewis, a 1993 TCHS graduate, has been on the Wildcat coaching staff since the late 1990s under former head coach Curtis Higgins and was most recently offensive coordinator for former coach and new TCHS principal Shannon Burcham.

Lewis was introduced at the conference by Erin Eagleson, who had just been introduced as the new assistant athletic director by former principal Neal Cummins.

Eagleson, a 1996 TCHS grad, has been on staff at TCHS for the last 10 years and has served as an assistant coach in the past.

The opening for TCHS athletic director is still posted, with Jim Perrin's successor expected to be announced about two weeks from now.
