Mrs. Queen died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Riverside Regional Hospital in Newport News, Va.
She was born February 12, 1933 in Murray to the late Albert Cassity Sr. and Wavel Higgins Cassity.
She was a retired editorial assistant for the Environmental Protection Agency in Las Vegas, Nev.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Ivory Queen; one sister, Mildred Cassity; two brothers, James and George Cassity; two sister-in-laws, Betty (Wallace) Cassity and Thelma Cassity.
Survivors include four brothers, Anthony Cassity of Benton, Hayden Cassity (and wife Mary) of Aurora, Bob Cassity (and wife Regina) of Cadiz, Albert Cassity Jr. (and wife Shelby) of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters-in-law, Jackie Cassity of Murray and Lorene Cassity of Benton; one daughter, Nora Jean Barrett of Poquoson, Va.; two sons, Rolla Queen (and wife Dale Price) of Riverside, Calif. and Kent Queen of Hampton, Va.; six grandchildren, Cassity, Meagan and Alexander Queen, all of Riverside, Calif., Glen and John Barrett and Hannah Chadwick, all of Poquoson, Va.
