Bethel Church held a groundbreaking for their new fellowship hall and a fish fry on Saturday, June 2. nearly the entire congregation showed to hear their pasture Kenny Rogers talk about the event, and bless everyone with prayer.

The current fellowship hall is in the basement of the church, which is not handicap accessible. Many of the older members of the church have a hard time getting to the hall, so a new one will be built for them. There will be Sunday school rooms and facilities on the main level and it will also be used for weddings and receptions.
