Funeral services for Betty Louise Johnson, 60, of Hopkinsville, were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2010 at Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville.

The Rev. Buddy Slaughter officiated. Burial followed at Double Barn Cemetery.

Miss. Johnson died of natural causes at 2:17 P.M. at her residence.

Miss. Johnson was born May 12, 1950 in Christian County. She was the daughter of the late Alvis and Learlean Burnett Johnson.

Miss. Johnson was a nurse for Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville. She also worked as a seamstress and worked at JoAnn Fabrics. She was a member of the Liver River Baptist Church and was a past choir member.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Jones, and one brother, Wiley Johnson.

Survivors include four sisters, Sarah McGee (Columbus) of Cadiz, Margaret Bacon (Walter) of Hopkinsville, Diane Barney (Robbin) of Sacramento, Calif., and Cilvia Dutton (Robert) of Chicago, Ill.; four brothers, Alvis Johnson (Rosetta) of Harrodsburg, Clarence Johnson of Harrodsburg, Steve Johnson of Hopkinsville and Terry Johnson of Hopkinsville.
