Private graveside services for Betty Lou (Cox) Kelsey, 61 of Cadiz were held at Sand Hill Church Cemetery, Graves County. Collier Funeral Home in Benton handled arrangements.

Mrs. Kelsey’s body was recovered Monday, September 14, 2009 in Mayfield.

Mrs. Kelsey was preceded in death by her parents, Morgan Cox Sr., and Ima Bell Cox, four brothers, Francis Franklin Frank Cox, Bernist Cox, LaVern Cox, and William Slim Cox.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Kelsey of Cadiz, two daughters, Janet Sullivan of Hickory and Marla Johnson of Paducah; one son, John Paul Parker of Hickory; one sister, Datha Cox Penner of Wingo; three brothers, Ernest Cox of Benton, Russell Cox of Benton and Morgan Cox, Jr., of Hickory; four grandchildren, Nicholas Sullivan of Norfolk, Va., Jeremy Sullivan of Hickory, Winter Johnson of Paducah and Lily Johnson of Paducah.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Old Sand Hill Cemetery Fund, C/O CFSB, Benton, Ky.
