Mrs. Bridges died on Thursday, February 15, 2007, at 8 p.m., at her residence in Nashville, following a long illness.
Mrs. Bridges was born on February 12, 1949, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Myra Joiner.
Mrs. Bridges was a Trigg County High School graduate; graduated from Draughon’s Business College in Nashville; served in the U.S. Army National Guards; owned and operated a Boutique and Tanning Salon; and was a member of Donaldson Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Vetter and Barbara Lang.
Survivors include her husband, William E. “Bill” Bridges; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Stacey Bridges; three grandchildren, John Bridges, Kara Bridges and Hannah Bridges; two brothers, Curtis Joiner of Cuba, New York, and Lloyd Joiner of Washington, Ill.; two sisters, Jane Boyd of Riverside, Calif., and Doris G. Rauhut of Las Vegas, Nev.; and numerous Godchildren in Nashville.
