King’s Funeral Home was in charge of Memorial Services for Beverly Jean Fisher, conducted on Monday, October 8, 2007, at 11 a.m., at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.

Rev. Allan Stokes, Sr., officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Cemetery.

Mrs. Fisher died on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at 8:55 p.m., at Spring Creek Nursing Home in Murray, following an illness.

Mrs. Fisher was born on June 28, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Craytor Metzger.

Mrs. Fisher was a Secretary for Broadview Savings & Loan Co. in Cleveland, Ohio; was a member of the Cadiz United Methodist Church, Cumberland Shores Homemakers Club, Newcomers Club, Women’s Hospital Auxiliary Club, and the American Red Cross.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Churchill; second husband, Frederick DeVere; and third husband, Bill Fisher.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Joanne Metzger of Medina, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Jeanne Hamilton of Pinnlis Park, Fla.; two nieces, Donna Lee of Columbus, Ohio, and Denise Gorezyca of Berea, Ohio; and a great-niece, Meena Lee of Columbus, Ohio.
