Funeral services for Billy Wynn, 74, of Princeton (formerly of Eddyville), were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

The Rev. Steve McVay officiated. Burial followed at the Friendship Church Cemetery.

Mr. Wynn died following a long illness at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton.

He was born May 20, 1936 in Lyon County to the late Cecil and Dorothy Christine Lewis Wynn.

Mr. Wynn attended Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a retired diesel mechanic with the state highway department.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Huel Wynn; and one son, Woody Wynn.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Litchfield Wynn of Princeton; two brothers, Carney Wynn of Lyon County and Louard Wynn of Trigg County; three sisters, Lois Ann Littlefield, Sue Horning and Dottie Call all of Caldwell County; one daughter,

Penny Wynn (and husband Hal Hogan) of Sugar Hill, Ga.; two granddaughters, Emily and Mallory Hogan; several nieces and nephews.
