Graveside services for Bobby Earl Wilcox, 66, of Denver, CO, formerly of Cadiz, were conducted on Thursday, April 29, 2004, at 10 a.m., at Echo's Baptist Church Cemetery, in Ohio County, Ky. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Wilcox died on April 20, 2004, in Araphoe, CO, at 8:15 p.m., of natural causes.

Mr. Wilcox was born on April 26, 1937, in Greenville, Ky. He was the son of the late J.C. Orville and Vida Reid Wilcox.

Mr. Wilcox was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict; was of the Baptist Faith; worked with Heating & Air Conditioning Installations; was a VFW member; and a member of the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Sharon and Mario Ruiz, and Wendy Jo Kerr and Hugo Ruiz, all of Denver, CO; a sister, Brenda Lou Dailey, of Cadiz; 11 grandchildren, Damon Wilcox, Hector Herrera, Maria Ruvalcava, Vida Jean Wilcox, Lupe Ruiz, Bryan Ruitz, Rafael Castillo, Krystal Pena, Wendy Morales, Alfredo Pinedo, and Domingo Ruiz; three nephews, David Rattray, Ron Mazac, Jr., and Cody Dailey, all of Cadiz; a niece, Angela Mazac Detweiler, Cadiz; and 10 great-nieces and nephews.

Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
