Angela Kinder was riding in her ATV up a sliding embankment about five miles from the main gate at about 5:30 p.m. when her vehicle overturned on top of her, and she died of head and chest injuries as a result, Vinson said.
The coroner stated that Kinder was on the ATV following her husband, Larry Kinder, and another couple when the group noticed that she wasn’t behind them, and added that when they realized she wasn’t behind them, they backtracked until they found her pinned under the ATV and called 911.
Trigg County Rescue, Trigg County Emergency Medical Service and the U.S. Forestry Service responded to the scene, Vinson said.
