As a specially called meeting, Chairman Bob Brame reminded the commission that the only items of business allowed for discussion were the ones listed on the agenda, the final plat approval of a tract in the Osprey Landing II subdivision and allowing a letter of credit on the White Dove Subdivision.
Brame said that the letter of credit was for 125 percent of the cost of engineering work in the subdivision allowing the developer to defer work on streets, drainage, rocks and paving. He said that the letter was incomplete at the time of the meeting and unable to be reviewed by the commission.
He said that the Osprey Landing plat had some drainage issues, but revisions had been approved by an inspector as safe and effective. Commissioner Matt Ladd made the motion to approve the plat. With a second from Howard Stovall, the motion passed without opposition and the meeting adjourned.
