Cadiz police officers arrested Tyler after being identified by witness Sheila Harris during the break-in. Tyler was charged with stealing an unspecified amount of cash and candy from the business. Harris observed the other two outside the store acting as accomplices.
According to Circuit Clerk Pam Perry, the trio accepted a plea to the trespassing charge, after facing Third-Degree Burglary charges. Special District Judge William McCasslin sentenced each defendant to 40 hours of community service, one year in jail reduced to two years of probation, and ordered them to pay their public defender’s legal fee.
See The Cadiz Record for more about the three suspects.
