Cadiz Police receive Homeland Security grant of $22,000

The Cadiz Police Department received a $22,000 grant for electronic equipment on Monday, according to a letter to the CPD from the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security.

Specifically, the grant will be used for an emergency operations center digital system as well as mobile data computers for the Cadiz Police Department, the letter stated.

“We look forward to working with you in support of this essential project,” said Thomas L. Preston, executive director of the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security.
