Wilson was riding an ATV during a racing event at a Motocross track on Fruit Hill Road in Crofton when he lost control of the vehicle and was thrown off of it, and although he initially refused treatment, he was eventually taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, reports indicated.
From Jennie Stuart, Wilson was transferred to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Trauma Center in Nashville, where he passed away due to complications due to his injuries, the report stated, either late on Saturday night or early on the morning of Sunday, May 24.
Wilson is survived by his wife, Angela Johnson Wilson, and his daughter, Chandlar Dee Wilson, both of Cadiz. A service was held for him on Wednesday, May 27.
