Thanks to the alert eyes of local resident Sheila Harris, the Cadiz Police Department arrested 22-year-old Tiffany Nicole Tyler for the May 29 burglary of the Video Store on Main Street.

Cadiz Police Chief Hollis Alexander said that police are considering pressing charges against 18-year-old Codie Atwell and Sarah Denfip, no age given, for complicity to the burglary.

Alexander said that police arrested Tyler after receiving a tip from Harris that the suspect was in the building. He said that Denfip was not inside the building and Atwell acted as the driver during the burglary. He said that Tyler gave permission to an investigating officer to search her apartment, where the police found stolen candy and cash as well as a bag containing marijuana beneath the refrigerator. Police charged Tyler with Third Degree Burglary and Possession of Marijuana.
