Funeral services for Cal Mason Shemwell, 42, of Hopkinsville, were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009 at Good-win Funeral Home, with Paster Don Troutman officiating. Interment will be at Little River Cemetery in Cadiz.

Shemwell died on Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at his home in Hopkinsville.

Shemwell was an LPN at Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville. He was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church in Hopkinsville. He was also a member of the Fraternal order of the Eagles in Hopkinsville.

He is survived by his parents Harvey B. & Faye Mason Shemwell of Cadiz. His daughter Lauren Coley of Hopkinsville, his son Austin Leigh Shemwell of Hopkinsville, his two Brothers John Shemwell of Trenton, Ky., and Bert Shemwell of Hopkinsville, and by his maternal grandmother Ambie Mason of Herndon, Ky.
