Funeral services for Carloss Bush, 98, of Cadiz, were conducted on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at 11 a.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Revs. Mark Engler and Billy Joe Nichols officiated at the services. Burial followed in East End Cemetery in Cadiz.

Mr. Bush died on Sunday, May 13, 2007, at 12:25 a.m., in Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton of natural causes.

Mr. Bush was born on September 23, 1908, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Alonzo Carlton and Mary Charlotte “Lottie” Givens Bush.

Mr. Bush was a retired farmer and was of the Pentecostal Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Childress Bush in 1986; son, Carlton Bush; daughter, Martha Nell Bush; five brothers, Horrace Bush, John Bush, Travis Bush, Robert Bush and Lexie Bush; and two sisters Elizabeth Banister and Myrtle Adams.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Lacy and Pat Bush of Wallonia, Don and Rose Bush of Cadiz, and Richard and Brenda Bush of Canton; three daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca Sanders of Wallonia, Betty and Dwain Wyatt of Princeton, and Mary Bush of the home; three brothers, Kenneth Bush of Cadiz, Cecil Bush of McKinney, Texas, and Charles Bush of Frankfort; daughter-in-law, Dixie Bush of Cadiz; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Serving as pallbearers were Ronald Bush, Donald Bush, Michael Bush, Hershel Bush, Randy Bush, and Kyle Jones.

Honorary pallbearers were Bill Bush, Bob Bush, Bruce Farmer, Rodney Loomis, Ricky McNichols, Kavin Allen, Chris Bland, Kenneth Jones, Howell Finley, Charles Adams, Garland Darnell, Kenneth Rennison, Billy Bush, Harold Bush, Hop Campbell, Charles Owen Bush, T.C. Bush, Jackie Atwood, and Chase Carloss Bush.

Dwain Wyatt, vocalist, and Katherine Farmer, vocalist, provided the music.
