Carroll-Lincki exchange vows

Blair Carroll and Russell Lencki exchanged Wedding Vows on Saturday, September 16, 2006, at 5 p.m., at the home of the bride’s parents, with Richard Bates officiating.

Parents of the bride are Charles and Patricia Carroll of Cadiz.

Grandmother of the bride is Rosemarie Heflin of Hope Mills, N.C.

Parents of the Groom are Al and Sheila Lencki of Murray.

Grandmother of the groom is Edith Nedrow of Mayfield.

Lindsey Hammack of Paducah provided the wedding music. The Alonzo Pennington Band of Eddyville provided music for the reception.

Selections included, “Your are the Sunshine of My Life, Stevie Wonder (Processional),” “The Long and Winding Road,” and “I Love Her,” and “All We Need Is Love, Michelle” – The Beatles.

Britt Ross of Troy, Ohio, sister of the bride, served as Matron of Honor; Maids of Honor were Amanda Willis of Louisville, friend of the bride, Brittany Shemwell of Murray, friend of the bride, Brooke Kennedy of Evansville, Ind., sister of the groom, and Kanitra Byndon of Elgin, S.C., friend of the bride.

Junior Bridesmaid was Kagan Palma of Hope Mills, N.C., cousin of the bride.

Jared Lencki of Murray served his brother as Best Man; Groomsmen were Blake Lencki of Murray, brother of the groom, Benjamin Binford, Boone Chambers, and Brad Wilson, all of Murray, friends of the groom, and Al Plan of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., friend of the groom.

Jadyn Lencki, niece of the groom, served as Flower Girl.

Serving as Ushers were Bryan Ross of Troy, Ohio, brother-in-law of the bride, Drew Wooldrige of Nashville, Tenn., friend of the groom, Austin Dickerson of Louisville, friend of the bride and groom, and Bradford Carroll of Riverview, Fla., brother of the bride.

The bride wore a Mora Lind Original, pearl color, strapless gown, with a light gold sash beneath the bodice. The bride’s mother hand-sewed gold beads to the sash in a whimsical pattern. The bride surprised her groom by wearing white Chuck Taylors.

The bride wore daises in her hair and carried a bouquet of Mango Roses, Black-eyed Susans and Gerber Daises in fall colors with the base wrapped in gold ribbon.

Her attendants wore Espresso colored halter-style dresses by d.Crew with gold sandals.

The Guest Book was kept and Programs handed out by Beth Ann Dickens of Madisonville, cousin of the groom.

Wedding Director was Dori Chambers of Murray, friend of the bride.

A reception was held at the bride’s parents home following the ceremony. Carroll Creations – Patty Carroll of Cadiz, with Becki Palma, and Laura Freeman, both of Hope Mills, N.C., catered the reception and served as hostesses.

The bride’s Cake was a 2-tier Italian Crème and Carrot Cake decorated with fresh flowers, including black-eyed Susans and daises created by Peggy’s Kitchen in Mayfield, decorated by Britt Ross, sister of the bride.

The Groom’s Cake was a Chocolate Chip, Cherry and NY Cheesecake made by Amanda Willis, friend of the bride.

Following a Honeymoon trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple is making their home in Lexington, Ky.
