Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – noon Friday at the funeral home.
The Rev. James Edwards will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.
Mr. Wadlington died of natural causes at 5:25 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Wadlington was born November 18, 1947 in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Charlie Bell and Mattie Bell Radford Wadlington.
Mr. Wadlington was a self-employed carpenter, electrician and plumber. He was a United States Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, Charlie Wadlington, Jr., Randy Wadlington and Jeffrey Wadlington; one brother, Ivan Wadlington and one granddaughter, Ty Qualius.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Henry T. and Angie Wadlington of Cerulean; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Harris Boyd of Cerulean, Charles and Louise Irvin, Jr. of Terre Haute, Ind., James and Pat Wadlington of Evansville, Ind., Richard and Greta Wadlington of Cerulean, Clayton W. Wadlington of Cerulean, Robert and Laura Wadlington of Cadiz and Neal and Ella Wadlington of Cerulean; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Emma Rascoe of Cerulean, Verna Watkins of Hopkinsville, Rheda and Kenneth Gibson of Mont Clair, Va., and Linda and Tony Baker of El Paso, Texas; one granddaughter, Tyonna Wadlington of Paducah; a special friend, Bertha Smith of Cerulean; one uncle, Elgene Radford of Hopkinsville; and one aunt, Ella Brandon of Cerulean.
