Funeral services for Clara Louise Hale Allen, 73, of Cadiz, will be conducted on Saturday, May 20, 2006, at 2 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Pastor Peggy Smith will officiate at the services.

Mrs. Allen died on Sunday, May 14, 2006, in Franklin, Tenn.

Mrs. Allen was born in Bruceton, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Violet Walter Hale.

Mrs. Allen worked for Motorola in Cicero, Ill. for 39 years; She was known as the Tiger Lady and sold Avon for 25 years; she retired in 1999 and moved to Calhoun Hill in Cadiz, and there was known as the Hummingbird Lady.

Survivors include friends, Tony and Joy Arnold of Franklin, Tenn., and Herb and Pat Rudiger of Algonquin, Ill.; cousins, Carol and Bob Story of Cadiz, and their children, Bobby and Sabrina Story of Colorado Springs, Col., and Cathy, Johnny, John Kyle, and Kayla Stevens of Mayfield; uncle, Bill Walter, and aunt, Lucille Williams, both of Mayfield; and several other cousins and friends.

Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, Tenn., was in charge of out-of-town arrangements.

Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
