Cofield wins archery world title

Trigg County High School alum and current Murray State University student Graham Cofield earned a championship Sunday at the World Archery Festival in Las Vegas.

Cofield finished the three-day event with a score of 888, tied with Randy Brabec of Colorado. After a shootout Sunday, Cofield came away with the win. He hit the bullseye 51 times during the event.

Cofield was a multi-time state and national champion while attending Trigg schools.
