Rogers Group, of Hopkinsville, was the only company to submit bids for projects that were advertised by the court.
The county had $460,698 to work with through the county road aid fund. Moore suggested 11 roads that need paving, however the individual road bids proposed by Rogers totaled well over the amount of funding.
Therefore, Judge Executive Berlin Moore suggested that 9 of the 11 roads get paved due to necessity as well as two others that are more of safety concerns.
