The defending 2006 Southern Pennyrile Athletic Conference Middle School Football Champions, the Trigg County Midcats, will be having tryouts on Monday July 30 at 4:00 p.m. on the Trigg County Middle School practice field. The coaches ask that everyone who tries out to please wear athletic shorts, a tee shirt, and athletic shoes. NO CLEATS! The tryouts will consist of a middle school combine where potential players will be participating in various physical activites that will measure agility, cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, power, and speed. If you have any questions then feel free to contact Coach Morton at 522-8943. Make sure to get plenty of rest and be stay hydrated before trying out.
