A Cadiz man was arrested last week on two charges of sexual abuse, reportedly on two girls under the age of 12, according to a press release by Trooper Dean Patterson of the Kentucky State Police.

Curtis E. Curtis, 30, was arrested last week on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, said Patter-son.

On Jan. 24, the KSP received a report of sexual abuse occurring in Trigg County, a complaint that alleged that a 30-year–old male was sexually abusing two girls under the age of 12, Patterson wrote.

An investigation by KSP Trooper Brian Duvall into the complaint began immediately, and the investigation led to Curtis’s arrest, and he was charged on Jan. 26 and lodged in the Christian County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond, Patterson said.

The trooper said that because it is a sexual abuse case, no other details could be released at press time.

The investigation is continuing by Trooper Duvall with the Kentucky State Police, said Patterson.
