In Trigg County there are: 311 Big Sky Families; 362 Crossroads Villagers; 556 Young and Rustic families; and 854 families of Back Country Folks, among many other colorfully titled groups.

This is some of the Trigg County demographic information shared with members of the Trigg/Cadiz Economic Development Commission and the Cadiz Retail Task Force as they met for the first time in a three-part “Consumer Connection” program sponsored by the Tennessee Valley Authority.

The titles are meant to describe the kinds of consumers in the county for potential businesses, to help them determine if their wares would be marketable here. Similarly, it helps the Retail

According to the profiles, for instance, Big Sky Families “buy virtually every piece of sporting equipment on the market.” The also own a camper, attend auto races, read Hot Rod, listen to classic rock and drive a full-size Chevy pick-up.
