Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.
Rev. Kevin Randolph officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz.
Mrs. Sholar died on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at 11 p.m., at her residence of a sudden illness.
Mrs. Sholar was born on November 24, 1943, in Hammond, Ind. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Helen McMinds.
Mrs. Sholar was a homemaker, and a member of Northwest Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.
Survivors include her husband, Kelly Sholar of Cadiz; daughter, Laura Zasada of Chicago, Ill.; step-daughter, Teresa Ann and Kerry Ermy of Demotte, Ind.; two step-sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald Clayton and Renate Sholar of Portage, Ind., and David Keith Sholar of Cadiz; twin brother, Dennis McMinds of Rossville, Ga.; step-grandchildren, Derek Erny, Brandi Johnson, Brian Sholar, Christopher Sholar, and Ashley Sholar; step-great-grandchild, Madison Johnson.
