Denton and Beale exchange vows at Lake Barkley

On Saturday, May 20, 2006, at 7 p.m., Lake Barkley State Resort Park was the setting for the exchanging of the wedding vows of Anne Austin Denton and William Charles Beale, both of Murray.

Bro. Allen Miller of Benton officiated the wedding ceremony.

Wayne Harper provided the music by performing some original instrumentals.

The bride is the daughter of David and Sally Denton of Cadiz.

Grandmother of the bride is Annette Poulk of Owensboro.

Parents of the groom are Decie Franklin of Troy, Tenn., and the late Charlie Beale of Murray.

Grandparents of the groom are Bill and Dottie Bailey of Murray.

The bride chose a white chiffon empire-waist dress with pearl beading at the bodice. She carried a bouquet made of white spider mums, daisies, and calla lilies with hosta leaves. Her veil was made of simple tulle with white satin ribbon.

Sarah Copeland, bride’s sister, of St. Louis, Mo., and Jana Tollesen, cousin of the bride, of Orlando, Fla., served the bride as co-Maids of Honor. They chose individually styled white dresses.

The groom chose Matt Morehead to serve as his Best Man.

A reception followed the ceremony at Lake Barkley State Park. The bride’s cake was cheesecakes and key lime pies from Garden Gate Café in Murray.

The groom’s cake was white decorated with a golfer and putting green.

Following a Honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple is residing in Murray.
