Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Brother Randall Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Garden.
A native of Trigg County, she was born January 12, 1921, the daughter of the late Chess and Opal Green.
She was a member of the Cadiz Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Garnett Lancaster; son Johnny Lancaster; two brothers Nelson and Raymond Green; and sister Shirley Green.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosie East of Hopkinsville and Betty Hayes of Pembroke; one brother, Morgan Green of Cerulean; two sisters, Marie Cerasi of Tampa, Fla., and Virginia Forsythe of Cadiz; two sons-in-law, Wayne East and Bob Hayes; and one daughter-in-law, Evelyn Lancaster. Also, surviving are seven grandchildren, David East and wife Anne, Sandy Hayes Higgins and husband Michael, Lisa Lancaster and husband Tim, John Lancaster and wife Renee, Todd Hayes and wife Emily, DeAnna East Daniel and husband Scott, and Leigh-Anne Hayes Price and husband Todd. Great grandchildren include Chassen Lancaster, Benjamin Higgins, Caleb Rawlins, Emily Higgins, Erin Higgins, Connor Rae East, Tabby Rawlins, Jacob Price, Jensen Price, Simon East, Will Hayes, Patrick Higgins and Daven Daniel. Other survivors include sisters-in-law Wilma Green and Sue Green; brother-in-law Joe Lacy Lancaster and wife Lucy; and several nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers will be David East, John Lancaster, Todd Hayes, Tim Rawlins, Michael Higgins, Scott Daniel and Todd Price.
