Funeral services for Diane Hopper, 62, of Princeton, were conducted on Sunday, May 7, at 1:30 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Bobby Allen officiated at the services. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hopper died on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at 6:30 a.m., at her home of an apparent heart attack.

Mrs. Hopper was born on March 7, 1944, in Hopkins County. She was the daughter of Rowena Gentry Holsapple of Hopkins County, and the late Wallace Higbee.

Mrs. Hopper was a homemaker; and she attended Green Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Rhea Hopper in 2001.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include two sons, Mike Hopper of Caldwell County and Richard Hopper of Paducah; a daughter, Melissa Belt of Greenbrier, Tenn.; three grandchildren, D.J. Belt, Nathan Hopper, and Lindsey Hopper; two brothers, David Higbee and Tommy Higbee, both of Hopkins County; and two sisters, Betty Allen of Hopkins County and Marlene Scovall of Hopkinsville.
