Funeral services for Donald Mason Gray, 70, of Princeton, will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Southside Baptist Church in Princeton. Bros. Ronnie Sivells, John Benton and John Hagan will officiate. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.

Mr. Gray died following a short illness at 11:05 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the emergency room of Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton.

He was born July 8, 1940 in Caldwell County to the late Bentley Mason Gray and Peachie Ann Hendricks Gray.

He was a member and deacon of the Southside Baptist Church, a retired school custodian of the Caldwell County Schools and was also a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by five sisters, Gladys Terrell, Omie May Gray, Anna Dean Gray, Lora Gray and Lucille Gray.

Survivors include his wife, Venda Hogan Gray of Princeton; one sister, Betty Lancaster of Cadiz; two sons, Donald Mason Gray Jr. (and wife Debbie) of Williamsburg, Va., and Darrell Gray of Princeton; one daughter, Nicole Hagan (and husband John) of Cadiz; five grandchildren; Cameron, Alee and Ryan Gray and Joshua and Abbey Hagan.

Pallbeares will be the deacons of Southside Baptist Church.
