Funeral services for Donald Floyd Horn, 76, of Owensboro, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will follow in the Smith-Ratliff Cemetery in McLean County. Visitation will be held from 1- 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Horn died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at his home. He was born June 23, 1934 in Davies County to the late Morgan and Annabelle Livers Horn.

He was a member of Third Baptist Church and was retired from the City of Owensboro where he served as a group leader with the sewer and street department. He loved fishing, deer hunting, camping at Barkley Lake and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Donald was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Robert, Charlie and Morgan Horn, Jr.; and two great grandchildren, Lucas and Charles Clark, Jr.

Donald is survived by his wife of 45 years, Martha Clark Horn; one sister, Nancy Anne Horn; two brothers, James E. Horn (and wife Linda) and Jack Horn (and wife Ruth), all of Owensboro; four sons, Michael Wayne Horn of Owensboro, Gary Lee Horn (and wife Nanice) of Huachuca City, Ariz., Scottie Lynn Horn (and wife Kat) of Owensboro, and Timothy Jack Clark (and wife Valerie) of Calhoun, one daughter, Angela Gale Horn Oost (and husband Billy) of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Charles Lee Clark, Steven Clark, Collin Horn, and Molly Horn, all of Owensboro, and Christopher Horn of Hawesville.
