Funeral services for Dorothy Close “Mo” Duncan, 51, of Cadiz, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010 at King’s Funeral Home.

The Rev. David Futrell officiated the services. Graveside services were at the William Duncan Cemetery in Russellville at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010.

Mrs. Duncan died of natural causes at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Duncan was born May 9, 1958 in Detroit, Mich. She was the daughter of the late Fred Close and Dorothy Joyce Hayden Close.

Mrs. Duncan was a waitress. She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her husband, David Duncan of Cadiz; one son, Justin Close of Cadiz; one daughter, Natalie Close of Cadiz; three sisters, Debbie Melvin of Beaverton, Mich., Denise Holcomb of Pickford, Mich., and Dawn Jacqueline Couture of Beaverton, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Jessica Close, Dawson Close, Jensen Close, Justin Robert Close, Jr., Kyler Mitchell, River Hayden Oliver and Savanah Rain Oliver, all of Cadiz.

Pallbearers were Butch Board, John Deloach, John Brandon, Jonathan Deloach, David Kassinger, Chris Hightower, Jeremiah Hightower, Tim Bueler, Cecil Edmonson and Scott Skinner.

David Kassinger, pianist, provided the music.
