Amber Michelle Dossett and Adam Stephen Roeder were married at 7 p.m. July 10, 2010, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hopkinsville.

Amber and Adam were married during a Nuptial Mass at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hopkinsville, with the Celebrant Father John Thomas, alter servers Dillon Foltz and Joe Westerfield, both of Hopkinsville, lectors Jennifer Gray of Hopkinsville and Gerry Konczyk of Cadiz, Eucharistic Minister Connie Konczyk of Cadiz, organist Wilson Augsburger of Hopkinsville, soloist Laura Sargent of Hopkinsville, flautist Shannon Trogden of Hopkinsville, wedding coordinator Shirley Prunitsch of Hopkinsville.

The music for the wedding was J.S. Bach Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring, “Pachabel Canon” in D”, J. Clarke “Prince of Denmarks March” and Shubert “Ave Maria.”

The bride is the daughter of Jimmy and Becky Dossett of Hopkinsville. Grandparents are O.D. and Eloise Stokes, the late James Earl Craft and the late Aubrey and Lenous Dossett.

The groom is the son of Delbert and Kim Roeder of Cadiz. Grandparents are Sherry Gresham of Cerulean and the late Gayle Gresham. Paternal grandparents are Edwin and Kathleen Roeder of Herndon.

The bride chose her friend Angie Armstrong of Hopkinsville as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were sister-in-law of the bride Jennifer Roeder of Cadiz, and friend of the bride Layne Finley of Hopkinsville.

Flower girls were Anna Caroline Roeder, daughter of John Edwin and Jennifer Roeder of Cadiz and goddaughter of the couple, and Kinley Woosley, daughter of Brad and Lindsey Woosley of Hopkinsville.

The groom chose his brother John Edwin Roeder of Cadiz as his best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Gray of Hopkinsville, friend of the couple, and brother of the groom Michael Tanner Roeder of Cadiz.

Ushers were uncle of the bride Myron Dossett, of Hopkinsville, brother of the groom Daniel Gresham Roeder of Hopkinsville, friend of the couple Beau Crunk of Hopkinsville, and cousin to the bride Kyle Boyd of Hopkinsville.

Ring bearer was nephew of the bride Skylar Dossett, son of Ben Dossett and Lindsey Woosley of Hopkinsville. The guest book attendant was sister of the groom Mary Elizabeth Roeder. Programs were given by sister-in-law of the groom Jackie Roeder.

A reception followed at Oakland Manor in Hopkinsville. The reception included dinner, dancing and the cutting of the wedding cake. The couple also enjoyed both a bride’s cake and a groom’s cake. The couple honeymooned in Hilton Head, S.C., and currently reside in Hopkinsville.

A wedding shower at Sinking Fork Christian Church was given by Mary Elizabeth Roeder, Jennifer Roeder, Karen Turner and Terri Lynn Futrell. A wedding shower given by Layne Finley and Angie Armstrong at Best Western in Hopkinsville.

A night with the guys was given by brothers of the groom and Brandon Oliver at the Oliver cabin in Cadiz. The rehearsal dinner was given by the grooms parents at Dot’s American Restaurant in Hopkinsville.
