Two fires broke out last Wednesday, both with somewhat suspicious implications authorities said.

The first of the two in the same day, was reported at approximately 4 a.m., according to volunteer firefighter and county official Donnie Tyler. He said it took approximately 3 hours to extinguish the blaze at the home of Trishlana Garcia, 32, and her four children. Everything inside the home was lost to the fire, which also caused the roof to partially collapse.

Garcia was at work at Johnson Controls, Inc. when the blaze began. She came home to find that little could be saved.

According to authorities, suspicious activity is also a possibility. Tyler said Sheriff Randy Clark and the deputy state fire marshal were on the scene to investigate the possibility of a break-in prior to the blaze.
