Edna was a self-employed cosmetologist and licensed practical nurse with private duty patients. She was a volunteer at the Presbyterian Hospital coffee shop for many years, a regular volunteer at Mays Inn, and volunteered for over five years at the beauty shop in The Oaks, Huntersville, NC.
She was an active participant in events and committees at Sharon Towers, where she and her husband have spent the last ten years. The Trulls were charter members of Westover Hills Presbyterian Church, former members of Covenant Presbyterian Church and Mrs. Trull was currently a member of Sharon Presbyterian Church.
A family graveside service was held at Sharon Memorial Park on Saturday, Oct. 24, with the Reverend Dr. Robert Blumerof Sharon Presbyterian Church officiating.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Trull was preceded in death by her son, David C. Trull, Jr. and his wife, Sally Kendrick Trull of Charlotte.
Survivors include daughter, Paula and husband, Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Bill Cunningham of Kuttawa; grandchildren, Debbie Marshall, and husband, Jonathanof Charlotte and Kim Bradley, and husband, Jimmyof Charlotte; John Ryan Cunningham, and wife, Deniseof Cadiz; Alec Cunningham, and wife, Marianneof Charleston, S.C.: Josh Cunninghamof Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Luke Cunninghamof Charleston, SC; and Joe Cunninghamof Naples, Fla.; Great grandchildren, Stephanie Bradley, Lauren Bradley, David Marshall, Josh Marshallof Charlotte; Romaine Cunningham, Devanie Cunningham, Azzie Cunningham and Asher Cunninghamof Cadiz; Marietta, Nicholas, and Lilian Cunningham of Charleston, S.C.
