There will be no services. The family chose cremation.

Mrs. Broadbent was born on December 27, 1932, in Hopkinsville. She was the daughter of the late Jolly B. Jones, Sr., and Pearl Routen Jones Alexander.
Mrs. Broadbent was retired after 22 years as an LPN with the Kentucky Correctional Department, and was a member of the Trigg County Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Broadbent; a son, David Lynne Broadbent in 1970; a brother, Wallace S. Jones; and a sister, Judy Melton.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, John S. Broadbent of Hopkinsville, and Mike and Madonna Broadbent of Cadiz; a daughter, Jessie Ramey of Cadiz; two brothers, Jolly B. Jones, Jr., of Cadiz; and John Kay Jones of Barbonton, Ohio; a sister, Charlene Rawls of Cadiz; six grandchildren, Michael Lynne Broadbent and Loren Jean-Marie Ramey, both of Cadiz, Melissa Shea Broadbent of Hopkinsville, Kristie Marie Guffey of Bowling Green, Amanda Renee Hubof of Moscow, Idaho, Stevon Curtis Brown and wife, Erin, of Princeton; and two great-grandchildren, Stillton Broadbent of Cadiz and Kaylee Ann Brown of Princeton.
