Rev. Charles Irving officiated at the services. Burial followed in Cave Springs Cemetery in Cerulean.
Mr. Radford died on Saturday, August 5, 2006, at 2:10 a.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
Mr. Radford was born on January 19, 1949, in Cerulean. He was the son of Elgene Radford of Hopkinsville, and the late Likey Irving Radford.
Mr. Radford was a self-employed Laborer, and a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church in Cerulean.
Survivors, in addition to his father, includes his wife, Ethel Ann Radford of Hopkinsville; a son, Elgene Radford, Jr., of Hopkinsville; two daughters, Kalisha Radford of Hopkinsville, and Kiki Radford of Nashville, Tenn.; five brothers, Thomas Radford and Eddie Radford, both of Hopkinsville, Rev. Norris Radford of Paducah, Ricky Radford of Cadiz, and Rev. Charles Radford of Clarksville, Tenn.; seven sisters, Evelyn Boyd of Detroit, Mich., Mae Paulus and Virginia Sledge, both of Indianapolis, Ind., Rhinell Weldon and Flossie Cross, both of Millsboro, Del., Delores Bradner of Orlando, Fla., and Debra Jenkins of Cadiz; two grandchildren; an uncle, Charlie Bell Wadlington of Cerulean; three aunts, Mattie Wadlington and Ella Mae Brandon, both of Cerulean, and Lillie Bea Catlett of Hopkinsville; and his mother-in-law, Augusta Grubbs of Cadiz.
