The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Tom and Elizabeth Elkins, and the late Jessie and Mary Thelma Boyd.
Leslie is a 2001 graduate of Stewart County High School, and is now a full-time student at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, majoring in Dental Hygiene.
Her fiancé is the grandson of Rev. Joseph Rogers, and the late Georgia Rogers, and the late Travis King and Lena King.
Shadrick is a 2000 graduate of American Home School in Lansing, Ill., and is employed by Direct TV.
The wedding is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2005, at 4:30 p.m., at Kenlake State Park in Aurora.
Formal invitations will be sent to out of town guests. Family and friends are invited to attend.
