Funeral services for Eva Mae Skinner, 70, of Cadiz, were conducted on Sunday, June 18, 2006, at 2 p.m., at King’s Funeral Home.

Rev. Greg Creekmur officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz.

Mrs. Skinner died on Thursday, June 15, 2006, at 9:30 p.m., at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Cadiz of natural causes.

Mrs. Skinner was born on January 6, 1936, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Spunk and Cora Louise Neeble Creekmur.

Mrs. Skinner had been a cook for the Cadiz Restaurant and Reva’s Restaurant for several years; and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Blaine Skinner in 2001; and a half brother, Bradley Hargrove.

Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Jack W. and Alma Creekmur of Cadiz; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Annette and Charles Tennant of Maryville, Ill., and Evelyn and Robert Bourassa of Helena, Mont.; and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Quinton Reynolds, Jacob Creekmur, Corey Creekmur, Jackie Creekmur, Marshall Lynn Stewart, Zachary Creekmur, Jeff Tennant, and Terry Tennant.

Jackie Creekmur, Janet Creekmur, and Paula Stewart, soloists, and Clarissa King, pianist, provided the music.
