The Trigg County Fiscal Court met for a brief special session to approve an amendment to include a surplus from the prior fiscal year and to approve a transfer within the current budget.

With County Judge Executive Berlin Moore absent, Magistrate Kelly P’Poole (D-District 5) presided over the two-minute session.

The first action approved amending the county budget to include a total of $846,200 of surplus from the prior year. The second transferred a total of $427,500 within the budget to repay funds for a road-paving project. Both actions passed unanimously.

The fiscal court cancelled their October 3 session with no business on the agenda other than approval of minutes of previous sessions. The next session is scheduled for October 17 at 7 P.M. at the County Court annex
